GTX App · TeixaTeam · Last updated: November 2026 · Versão em português
This Privacy Policy explains how GTX App, the fitness coaching app of TeixaTeam, collects, uses and protects your information. The Portuguese version is the reference text; this English version is provided for convenience. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
1. What data we collect
To provide coaching and training follow-up, we collect:
- Account data: name and e-mail, used for your login and identification.
- Health questionnaire (anamnesis): your goals, routine, health history, injuries and preferences, used to personalize your training.
- Training data: loads, completed sets and exercise history.
- Progress photos: photos you upload to follow your physical progress. They are private: only you and your personal trainer can see them.
- Diet: if the Diet tab is enabled for you, the foods and amounts you log, your calorie and macronutrient targets and your achievements. Foods you create (name, brand, serving and nutrition facts) are shared with other GTX clients without your name, to improve search for everyone; what you eat and the amounts remain visible only to you and your personal trainer. Barcode lookups send only the barcode number or the product name to the open Open Food Facts database; none of your personal data is sent.
- Water and weight: if you log them, the daily amounts. Visible to you and your personal trainer.
- Widgets and reminder (iPhone app): a summary of the day is stored only on your device and deleted when you sign out.
- Strava (optional): only if you connect your account. GTX receives your activities (name, sport, date and time, duration, distance, elevation, average heart rate and calories) and shows them only to you. You can disconnect at any time; the connection is revoked and the Strava activities are deleted from GTX.
- Garmin (optional, endurance plan): only if you connect your Garmin Connect account. GTX sends the swimming, cycling and running workouts written by your personal trainer to your Garmin Connect calendar, so they appear on your device. GTX receives from Garmin the activities you complete (sport, date and time, duration, distance, pace, heart rate and calories) to mark the planned workout as done and to let your personal trainer follow your progress. This data is visible only to you and your personal trainer. We never receive your Garmin password, we do not sell or share this data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or to train artificial intelligence. Access tokens are stored on our server, never on your device. You can disconnect at any time in the app: access is revoked at Garmin and the activities received from Garmin are deleted from GTX.
- Community content: when you take part in a challenge, what you post there (text, photos, videos and comments), together with your name and profile photo.
Taking part in the community is optional.
2. How we use your data
Your data is used only to:
- Build and adjust your personalized training;
- Follow your progress over time;
- Run the app and your account;
- Prepare your progress report, when your personal trainer chooses to create one;
- Show, inside a challenge, the content you posted there.
3. Security and storage
Your data is stored on secure servers (Supabase), protected by authentication and access rules that ensure each client can access only their own data. Data is transmitted encrypted. Progress photos are stored in a private area with restricted access and are never shown to other clients.
4. Sharing
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising. Your information is accessed only by you and by the personal trainer responsible for your coaching.
AI-assisted progress report: to draft your progress report, your personal trainer may use an artificial intelligence service (Anthropic). Only for that purpose, your training data, physical assessments, questionnaire answers and, if your trainer chooses, your progress photos are sent to that service. The generated text is always reviewed by your trainer before it reaches you.
5. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by writing to gtxteamapp@gmail.com. You can also delete your account in the app, under Profile › Delete my account. Deletion removes your account, training, photos, community posts and history, and cannot be undone.
6. Data retention
Your data is kept while your coaching is active. When it ends, you can request the deletion of your information.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Relevant changes will be communicated through our channels.
8. Contact
